WTC's primary purpose is to train people who will be capable of successfully pursuing a career in their chosen field.

The programs are designed to train the inexperienced person for entry level employment and upgrade experienced people in their respective fields.

All programs are designed so that the students spend a good portion of their time working on actual equipment in the lab areas. The overall philosophy of the school is to train people who will be capable of working in the field for which they have been trained.

By providing a proper balance between theory and practical shop work, the school has consistently graduated students who are accepted in industry and are recognized as potential leaders in their field.
