The College Campus Visit

Western Technical CollegeTrue or False? I have visited the college campus I plan to attend. The answer is important!

Many students think about academic program, location, size, and cost when deciding on a college, because these factors can reveal something about what the college is like. On the other hand, visiting the college does more than tell you what that college is like — it shows you what that college is like.

Western Technical College wants you to know that visiting is very important — and very few people do it. Be an exception, and visit. After all, you wouldn't buy a car you've never seen, right? Why should a college education be any different?

When to Go
On-campus interviews provide a good opportunity to view the campus. While you're there, be sure to take a campus tour. Western Technical College can provide regularly scheduled tours organized by the admissions offices.

What to Do
Look around, walk through the libraries and observe the students -- are they doing what you'd want to be doing? Talk to Instructors and read the school newsletters. In short, try to get a feel for the college and what is available. The more you do and ask on your campus visit, the more accurate an impression you'll get. Western Technical College encourages a visit to one, or even both of our campuses. We want to show you what our college is like!
