Microcomputer Technology/Electronics Program is Important for Future Growth
Rafael Corral, WTC Grad at ADP Technologies
Rafael Corral worked for five years in his previous job and knew that in order to move up in his position or to get a better job, he needed the know how . Because of Corrals decisions, he is now a graduate of WTC’s Microcomputer Technology Program and a WTC Advisory Board member. Now employed with ADP as a Client Technical Analyst, Corral says, “The Program at WTC allowed me to gain lots of experience and knowledge with my education. I am in a new job and in charge of assisting major clients with services in technical support for their products. I have high hopes to move up even higher in the near future.”
According to Gus Rodriguez Jr., Chairman of the Business Development Division of the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, Corral made the right move. Rodriguez says, “WTC is right on track with the already strong job market in El Paso for electronic and computer technicians and the high tech positions that will arise with the identification of El Paso/ Ft. Bliss as a Future Combat Systems location. WTC’s technology programs will position students in a way that will allow them to capture these huge opportunities that are going to be presented.” Corral adds, “I would just like to tell people who may be at home without a job or experience that they should give this program a try. It doesn’t hurt and it will find you a future!” For more information about the WTC Microcomputer Technology Program, call (915) 566-9621 or (915) 532-3737.
