Jefferson High School comes and vists every Wensday also we just had a class graduate from the welding dept.We would like to congradulate the following students Tony Mendoz,Danny Garcia, Angel Navarrrtte,Javier Aranda,Dallin Goodwrench,Shawn Finely,Shea Finley, Elias Flores, Chris Barnes, Steven Vasquez and Henoc Quinoes

Today the welding shop had students from Jefferson High school come
in for a tour.

Welding would like to welcome six diesel students to the welding dept in
the night class.

We have a guest speaker on pipe welding coming in the near future.

Currently started 15 students in a new phase.The advanced welding
now consists of pipe welding and structure.In other campus news:
The welding dept.Is now building a custum roll cage for the Western
Technical Collage race car.

My name is Richard Brubaker I'm a welding instructor at WTC I teach blue print reading and
combination welding.

We want to welcome diesel students to the welding department. They will be training with us for about seventy hours.We will show them basic welding technics, and torch cutting procedures.

We want to thank Structural Steel Services for accepting most of our externship students, and showing them how it is in the real welding world. Brian Howard and Victor (Marlboro Man) Ruiz have done a marvelous job with our externship students.

We want to congraduate April,s graduating class. They are Julian Acosta, Jesus Hernandez, Juan Fierro, Martin Jurado, Robin Medina, Arnold Mendoza,and Alejandro Nevarez. Good luck in your new career!! We also want to acknowledge David Rogers, from the city of El. Paso H.R. manager who instructed the students on how to gain employment with the city. David Rogers also stated that the city would be willing to work with our externship students.
