Odd Corner: Virtual Stapler

Link: http://www.virtualstapler.com/

As much as I like the internet to look at information, just some things boggle my mind. For instance, Virtual Stapler is a site dedicated to the interaction of a stapler. The site uses flash to show off a small array of staplers and when one is active, you get to witness the working evolution of it (a.k.a. it shows you it stapling when you rollover your mouse.)

This site will provide less than 5 seconds of entertainment, but if this an interest to you, then the rewards are a lot more. Links on that page will reference to you to other sites relating to the subject above. I would have never though that there could such an interest on a item that i use everyday for work.

Happy Stapling Yall'z!!!

Welding Technology improves Automotive Design

Automation Alley Press Room
Spaceform, a company spinoff of Delphi, has been in the research and development field for quite some time. Their contribution to redesigning the material and components used in Delphi's production have been on going. Instead of having a design that conforms to flat surfaces can now change to the developed form of bent curves. Meaning, for car production can build even stronger welded rollcages with new technology. Automation Alley is one of the major players in the raw materials divison for most companies. In having redesign the metal alloy that Automation Alley produces, now they can offer more in reenforced steel.

Good technology is great to have.

The Toughest Pointer You Will Ever See.......

Ok, maybe not the toughest, but it is ever so sweet. The next toy I want to get in my collection. Its not only just a laser pointer, it can use its projected frequency to burn holes and pierce thru plastic and help heal wounds (I'm not sure about the healing wounds part). I remember in movies that some slick "bond"-like character whipped out his diamond-cut laser to help him get out of hairy situations. Next to the jet-pak for quick takeoffs, this is the coolest spy gadget ever!!!!
